Caller Display has stopped

Just shows "Call" for incoming calls all of a sudden - no change in contract, no change to the phone (BT Studio Plus 5500) either. Any suggestions welcome to get this fixed.

Please check to see if  Caller Display is switched on by entering the code * # 234 #. If it's active you'll get the message Caller identity will be displayed.

it says that "this service is not available". I am on a prepaid annual service and this was renewed earlier in the year. it has been working until recently as mentioned earlier.
