Was hoping someone might be able to help... When I try to make a call I get a continuous dial tone and therefore no connection (incoming calls are fine). The line has been tested and there are no faults so I think it may be something internal so before I call out an Engineer I thought I would try and solve it. I have an ADSL filter on the phone and when I remove that I can make calls (although then there is interference) and when I put it back on it's ok for the first call and then the problem re-occurs. Does this sound like it could be something as easy as I need a new ADSL filter?
