Just thought I would post a quick note to the excellent service I received when I had a fault on my landline. I know many on here have stories of faults taking ages to be fixed, engineers not turning up etc so I thought it would be nice to give them some praise for once!
I went to use the phone on Saturday and there was a horendous noise on the line, reported it online it said there was a fault between the house and the exchange.
Less then 5 hours later a knock on the door and an openreach engineer was at my house. He wasn't sure where the fault was so connected a thing to the incoming pair, around an hour later he returned to say the fault was fixed apparently it was water getting in a joint box in the road box probably caused by some new cabling that had recently been pulled through.
Just checked my router stats and the noise margin is now just over 4 and connected at just over 30mb which it has never done before!
