Junction box to move

We have a BT junction box on the outside wall of our house. We have no BT phone line ourselves but it feeds other houses on our terrace. How do I get this moved as it’s in the way of new porch which is being built?

Re: Junction box to move

This is a BT Retail community forum. The 'box' belongs to openreach and you need to contact them to get it moved to another location. I would expect there to be a cost for moving it

@Rewbury

See https://www.openreach.com/network-services/altering-our-network

If you cause damage to the network, it can result in a large bill from Openreach.

Re: Junction box to move

That’ll be a Continuous Type DP. Normally installed on Low Cost Pre Fabricated Council Houses.

They're a right pain to work on.
