Landline fault

Hi there, I have just reported my landline again. It has not been working for many months. I have seen engineers working on the telegraph pole in my garden on several occasions since the line went dead. But nothing has been resolved. I spoke to an engineer last week and he said he was working on the Broadband, not the phone line. He advised me to contact BT again. I am wondering when the line will be fixed and also, how do I apply for a refund on my line charges? Thank you for your help.

Re: Landline fault

Hi @AliC62,

Welcome to the Community and thank you for posting. I'm sorry there has been a delay in getting your service repaired.

Any compensation due to you as a result of the delay will be done so in line with BT's Customer service guarantee

When did you first report the fault to BT? Has the fault team given you an estimated date of repair?

Thanks

PaddyB
