Landline not fixed after four booked apointments

I'm having work done on the house and the builders have accidentally removed my master socket and can't find a working line -they think they've cut it. The fault was reported on 15 August (nearly a month ago) and I've had four - yes four - appointments booked - and either no one has turned up or they have and then done nothing.  So no phone - no broadband. I'm still being billed though. Any advice here on how to proceed from here? Clearly reporting a fault is pointless.

@Blagmeister

Do you get your phone service from BT Retail?

Do you mean is it a business line? No, it's just a standard residential connection.

What I meant was do you pay BT Retail for your line rental, or another phone company?

Oh right. Yes, I pay BT for landline, broadband and TV package.

Thank.

Please bear in mind that there is going to be a charge for this repair, cause by third party damage.

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.

I am aware. I would just like it fixed. I'll likely pass the cost on to the builders. I need a new master socket, but it's just not happening.

Re: Landline not fixed after four booked apointments

Hi @Blagmeister

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post!

I'm sorry that there is a fault with your services.  This would be a chargeable repair as you've mentioned that the fault was caused by a third party accidentally damaging the cable.

We can help arrange the repair from here.  I have sent you a private message with instructions on how you can send us over your details and we'll look into this for you. See: Private messages

Cheers,

Robbie
