Landline problems,

I'm not very technically minded, I'm old and disabled.

On 22nd August I reported a fault on my landline, on tracking it back It has been checked through to the local substation or whatever it's called.

Have had no contact from engineers, and the website does not give an alternative other than a Mobile number. There is no mobile signal for my phone in this area. How do I attract the attention of an Engineer?

As a disabled ( and consequently vulnerable person), I am worried about being unable to contact Emergency services should it become essential.

Any advice gratefully accepted.

Re: Landline problems,

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.
