Moving telegraph pole

I am planning on getting the electricity board in Cornwall to move my power pole out of my garden and across the road, but it also has telephone wires connected to it which feed our whole lane. The electricity board are happy to move the pole (at a price) but have told me that BT will also need to move their cables. The trouble is the electricity board have told me that where we want to move the pole to does not lend itself to BT cables and that I should contact BT to see where they would put their cables as there is no obvious solution. How do I go about contacting the right department about moving BT cables from the pole in my land?

Bear in mind, it could cost you quite a lot of money, possibly tens of thousands pounds, depending on the survey. You will have to pay the cost of the survey first.

There may also be an existing wayleave agreement in place, which may be difficult to cancel.
