I didnt see your reply until today
A call centre chappy phoned up later that day and asked if the engineer visited (they'd phoned twice during the afternoon) - after telling him its not his fault he still copped him both barrels! After asking what lights are on my hub I said its not bleddy on as the phone line has a crossed connection. He did seem to listen a bit more than the others and arranged for an engineer to visit on 3 march. This engineer will know about line problems and broadband and not just one or the other.
Somebody spoke to my wife a couple of days after and said he is investigating (Irish not Indian this time)
Right futher update on BT incompetance.
Another day taken off work for and engineer visit - and no engineer turned up !"%$¬"%¬"¬!^¬!!!!!
Plugged my hub in waited and the lights were blue - turned off to wait for engineer.
Rang my number from mobi - heard ringing tone but my landline not ringing.
Rang my mobi from my landline - and got a totally new number.
check my acount online and its 'my' proper number there and aslo couple of calls to unknown mobiles!
WTF is going on CBA to ring india even to give some hapless sap a mouthfull
Any ideas John46 - you said leave it to the mods. How can I speak to one of them? I don't want to put my mob number on a public forum and if they ring my number Like Neil did god knows who they'd get!
I can see my colleague Neil is dealing with your case. I get him to get in touch with you.
