New Home switch from silver key line to gold key line

Hi

I move to new home few weeks ago. As its brand new home I don't have any broadband connection/provider (empty space for socket). I try to get broadband from Vodafone but they told me that my line have silver key and have to be changed for gold key and they told me to contact openreach.  So I contact them and they send me email that I have to contact BT Ireland to sold the problem. Try to call few time no body answer. My question is how to get it sorted? I read in previous posts that I need to contact my current provider but I don't have any provider as Its new home. Help

Before you can get broadband, you need to order a phone line first from a Service Provider.

Once the phone line is working, the Openreach database will get updated, and you can then order broadband.

That applies to all providers, but as this forum is for new or current BT Retail customers, there is no other help here, unless you are intending to use BT Retail as your provider.

Vodaphone should know the process.
