No landline.

Go to solution
Hi. Last week (the 13th March) Openreach engineers were in my road replacing the pole and overhead cables with new Fibre ones. I went out and came back home a few hours later and they’d finished their work and left. When I tried to use the internet it wasn’t working and neither did my landline. I noticed that there were 7 cables leading from the new pole but there are 8 houses on my side of the road. There isn’t a cable leading to my house so they’ve completely missed me out. I’ve got in touch with TalkTalk but honestly they’re useless. They keep saying they’ll investigate what the problem is but I’ve told them exactly what the problem is. There is no cable to my property what so ever. Does anybody know who I can get in touch with regarding this? Quite a major mess up really.

If your phone provider is TalkTalk you will need to contact them. This is a BT residential customer forum and has nothing to do with Openreach.
