Number ID is when it displays the callers number on your phone. The 1571 thing is BT call protect where you can set a list of blocked numbers using the BT website and logging in to your account.

1571 is the messaging service.  Bt Call Prtect is 1572.

For goodness sake...I got an email saying that this above comment was in response to my message which it wasn’t. I wasn’t shown the new messagaes until after I had posted a reply. Again typical BT rubbish. So I end up writing a message which is nonsense. My apologies for my part, more hate vibes to BT for theirs.
