Openreach database has wrong address

I think I have the same problem. I am a BT customer for landline and broadband. When I submitted a recent fault report the address shown on the online form was our previous address (same phone number, same exchange & probably same cabinet). I contacted BT to correct it, but they couldn't see the incorrect address. So I am now thinking that it may only show on Openreach's records. Is there an easy way to check this?

Hi @david644803 I called earlier and left a brief voicemail.

 

I just wanted to confirm that I've checked Openreach's records and they do have the correct address for your line. I have checked and can find no reference to your previous address anywhere on our records also. This may have been removed when you contacted previously. There is no issue with your address but if you find any occasion that you see the incorrect address again come back and let us know.

Hello, I would like to order fibre but my address cannot be found in the address checker list. It is a new build conversion of an old property and the old property is still found in the list. My address is active with Royal Mail but I suspect it needs to be updated with BT OpenReach. Otherwise it's a bronze matched address which BT is telling me can only have standard broadband and not fibre. I have tried to get the developer to help and also explaining to BT representatives who do not know how to get the address booked in.

Quick question for you. 

What happens when you put only the property postcode into this DSL checker? 

Does the corrrect address appear in the list?
