Well for about 3-4 years we've had a tapping on our phone line. it literally taps. tap tap tap. i have to clear the line and call back which is not always possible as booking hospital appointments etc.
also no one, literally no one can hear me, they say i'm whispering but i'm not. the poor lad i spoke to today to get yet another engineer out here i had to shout to make him hear me.
we've changed phones about 5 times, i refuse to change my phone again as we spent a lot of money on the one we have now. we've done the home checks more times than we can count. we've had engineers out. i'm really at the end of my tether. we pay our bill and we are loyal to BT. but it came to a point about 3 years ago when i thought what am i really paying for here. i'm not getting a service as one would expect.
ongoing battle to try and get the fault fixed. even though when a line test is done there is supposedly nothing wrong with the line. i want to scream to be honest. the problem persists.
has anyone else had this problem, if so, what did you do. and also i believe we're due compensation for the last 4 years.
it's really annoying paying for something you don't get. you wouldn't go into a supermarket to buy a bag of potatoes to only get two in there and have to pay for the full bag would you? no that wouldn't be acceptable. so why dear lord is this? argh!
