Hi, seems this issue has come up a few times when I used the search facility. However the issue only seems resolved when you contact a Mod.
I have recently done an online check with another provider and have been informed my phone number isnt registered to my address. So far it has taken me several hours to get to this point. i have used online chat as I noticed my billing address was wrong, hadnt noticed as bills are all online and I never really need to look at them as the bill is what I expect. They told me they have no updated the billing address to the correct address. They then gave me an 0800 to call and disconnected the chat rather abruptly.
Rang the number and got through to an Irish lady who then put me through to a call centre in India. He had problems understanding me, seems a scottish accent isn't ideal for him. After a while he said it was registered. However I'm not sure if he is getting the billing address mixed up with where Openreach have it registered.
There is no way for me to check where my number is registered so wondered if someone on here can help as I seem to be chasing my tail at the moment! Thanks in advance.
