Postcode and landline number don't match

Hi,

I am switching to a new provider, but unfortunately I am unable to due to the Postcode and landline not matching.

I have been told to contact my current provider to correct this.

I have checked my postcode on the Royal Mail address finder and everything is as it should be.

So you do not currently have broadband on your line, from any provider and you pay BT for your line rental and calls?

I am confused if you currently do not have broadband and only BT RETAIL landline then can you explain what you mean by you are switching provider

Meaning, I would like to sign up to a new provider, offering a complete new customer package but I am unable to due to postcode not matching phone number
