I have been looking through the Forum trying to find information for my dad who has had a similar experience to this.  When he moved house he was still within his minimum contract term and wanted to take his BT services with him.  He placed his order through the home moving service but they have been unable to supply the services to his new build property for about 3 months now with no real explanation just failed appointments and little information.  The frustrating thing is that they are still more than happy to continue taking his FULL direct debit payment each month despite the issue being that THEY cannot provide the service.  I think that this is disgusting, they money he has paid since moving should be refunded in full and his contract terminated with immediate effect and with no impact on both his credit or BT record.


I had a similar experience when I moved but this was only an issue cancelling my BT Broadband service but as I was moving abroad where they didn't provide service they eventually agreed to waive the cancellation fee.

I am sorry to see you are having problems

I suggest you contact the forum mods they should be able to get this problem sorted for you this is a link to them

They normally reply by email or phone directly to you within 3 working days they will take personal ownership of your problem until resolved and will keep you informed of progress

They are a UK based BT specialist team who have a good record at getting problems solved

This is a customer to customer self help forum the only BT presence here are the forum moderators
