The OP's complaint is BT have repeatedly failed to give him back his original phone number....

That is nothing to do with Openreach, as I said, BT Operate maintain the Exchange Equipment.

And ref to LLU, the OP said he might leave for another ISP. You implied doing so would make no difference, I was pointing out moving to an LLU Provider WOULD make a difference as they are not dependent on using BT's Exchange Equipment.....

Man, woman, couldn't care less.....

The point is you have layed blame at Openreaches door....... Where is your proof that the issue with his/order is not an issue with BT's IT System?
