I'll move house mid December and have ordered/booked a new router & broadband installation.
However I still haven't received my new landline phone number. Will I only receive it when the broadband is set up?
How can I inform people of the change of address without a new phone number?
I tried to ring BT helpline all day long - no way to get through to them. Very annoying!

Yes, I'm a BT customer and I had a look in My BT/ orders. But no luck - it doesn't give the new number.
You'll be sent the reserved number a few days before activation, It will come with a warning that it might still change, so not to get an stationary printed or give it out just yet, once activated you'll retain that number.
