When a friend tries to telephone me - my phone doesn't ring. I've ckecked that their number is not blocked.
I do know that their number is ex-directory. Would that make any difference ?
Ex-Directory only relates to the publish listings.
Are they calling from UK Landline or UK Mobile and are they calling on withheld? Secondly are they abroad?
Call Protect settings you can block international calls or unknown/witheld calls.
Ensure they arn't calling on withheld and check your BT call protect settings.
Alternatively you could have call blocking built into your phone ensure that this isn't blocking any numbers also.
They are calling from UK landline. (I did have a similar problem with someone ringing from Bulgaria, but they no longer use landline or mobile, so it's not a problem)
The number is not blocked. As they live about a mile away they come to the door, if they need to speach!
We can always ring them without any problem. This isn't a major issue, but I would have liked to solve it. Thanks.
That is really weird, I have never come across that before. Can't think of any way their number could be singled out.
Has it always been like this ? Might be worth getting them to check that they definitely don't have number blocking working.
@litteorme do you have unknown/withheld numbers blocked?
