phone

i can make calls on my phone but not receive any, every time i call bt they put me through to the fault people it is not a line fault, this is from the engineers, it is a problem with the line change from my last company. does anybody know a phone number i can ring for costomer care that knows what they are talking about. this problem has existed since september.

Your last provider has not released your number from their system, you will need to contact BT Faults on 151, ask they contact the Openreach Number Port helpdesk, they will contact the relevant tech department at your old provider who should release the number.

Or you could try Live Chat. It's often more effective, and you also get it in writing.
