Re: Bad state of line connections on telephone pole.

This feels like turning into from post to pilar,

This is the reply I got from openreach:

-------

Dear Mr. Peter Brouwer,

Thank you for contacting Openreach .

We are extremely sorry.

We request you to get in touch with your service provider.

The job is been made safe from our engineer.

We deal with public health and safety issues only.

 ------------

So as long is it not hazardous openreach does not feel resposible?

What about risk of fault and bad connections.....

Re: Bad state of line connections on telephone pole.

That's a BT41, BT as in Block Terminal, not British Telecom. I actually have two spare lid covers in the back of my van.

Re: Bad state of line connections on telephone pole.

Problen taken care of my friendly openreach engineer. Cups of coffee and some expressions of appreciations do wonders!

The problem seems to be with the people in the callcenters!
