New cordless phone cutting off BT Infinity connection when hanging up

I have had cordless phones for many years.  Used filters and had no connection issues with my BT Infinity connection.  Recently bought a new set (BT8600).  Now after a phone call, when the connection has ended, the internet connection drops for a minute or so then re-connects.  So far I have tried:

- Moving the cordless phone away from the home hub - no difference

- Buying a new filter - no difference

- Using an old wired phone - works fine (internet does not drop off)..

Any ideas for next steps?

Try two filters daisy chained

Which one of these matches your master phone socket?

Why do you need a filter, as the phone plugs directly into the bottom socket which is already filtered?

 

The home hub plugs directly into the top, that is all you need to do.

Do you have the phone plugged into the bottom socket, and the BT Home hub plugged into the top socket?

 

Do you have any extension sockets, and are they in use?

Hi. Yes plugged in as you say. Have one extension socket for sky box in another room. This has a filter on it. I even tried moving the base station to that socket to test it but no difference

Can you please unplug the Sky box from the extension socket, and then see whether you still get the problem?

 

I assume that the light on the home hub change colour when the disconnect occurs?
