My mother has just bought a new BT studio 4500 phone and is getting very annoyed with it disconnecting after half an hour or so of talking. This is the second one she has had as the first one did the same. Is there something in the menu I have missed that that does this or is a phone fault. Thanks, Rob

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Have you tried using a corded phone direct into the test point of your main BT socket as it may not be a phone fault and could be a line fault.
If you are getting the same problem in this test point with another known working phone you will need to contact your line provider who will arrange for openreach to sort out the problem.
