To add to this topic, watching Man City Real Madrid tonight. The sound is not exactly in sync with the picture as soon as it starts. As mentioned previously it’s noticeable with a close up of someone’s face and their lips not moving exactly as the sound is heard….I’m sure you understand what I mean. But over time, eg 10 mins or so the sound is then further out of sync. Restarted the app and it’s back to almost in sync (but still not), imagine it slowly goes out over time. Watching on PS5 and LGC1 tv. Still no idea why it’s only this app and not the others on the console if it’s the TV set up or the console being blamed…

And been playing around with it further, rewinding from live doesn’t help, neither does returning to live after the rewind. Only thing that makes it closer to 1:1 is closing and restarting the app (but that eventually goes further out afterwards so no point in doing that really. Also restarting console doesn’t change anything

I have sync issues on my PS5 and Sony smart TV too. In fact I don't even attempt to use the TV app as it force closes and even forces the TV to restart every now and then. I don't know why BT find it so difficult to develop a streaming app that is functional. NOW TV Sky Sports app on my TV and PS5 work absolutely fine.

The BT Sport App loses sync over time on Apple TV as well but I am sure that will be Apples fault as all faults are not caused by BT.

Thing is it doesn't lose sync over time. It's out of sync as soon as a stream begins.

Bt sport app not working on ps5 believe I have the fix I have sky Q which uses 5ghz WiFi band which I believe causes the issue when trying to stream the bt sport app on the ps5 fix which worked for me go to settings on the ps5 select your WiFi network and forget it then search for it again but before connecting to it press the options button and select the 2.4ghz WiFi band then reconnect to your network try your bt sport app all working you can thank me later 🙂
