Hi ,I set my TNT Sports to record all live Ashes programmes and selected series link. On watching the recording today it only recorded up to 5.59am rather than the scheduled 10.30 meaning over half the day's play has not been recorded. Thankfully the Discovery + app has enabled me to start watching the rest of play, however is this a known issue or what can be done? It's not an issue with hard drive space.
I had a similar thing happen to me, although my recording didn’t stop as early as yours. I was watching live at the time and noticed that the red record light on my box had gone off. I checked the EPG for TNT Sports 1 HD and it said No Information available which I think explained why the recording had stopped. I think I’m going to use Discovery+ from now on as recording is not reliable, and has been an issue for quite a while now.
Ok thanks for the response, the functionality of the BT box is awful but yes thankfully the Discovery+ app appears to have saved the day
Go the whole hog and sync the TMS radio commentary from BBC Sounds to the Discovery+ app TV pictures. Tiz what I do. 🙂
I mute the commentary completely for some of the football commentators/co-commentators and stick some music on. I’m not that bothered by the TNT commentators for this series to do what you suggest, although I acknowledge it’s not up to the standard of Sky. My earliest memory of Ashes cricket is watching Derek Underwood skittle the Aussies in the 1968 series, so I go back quite a long way.
Same here. It's also a pet hate of mine that if the ' guide' fails then you cannot manually override it . So, even if you are there and watching it, you cannot correct matters by pressing the red button. This also sometimes happens when an event over runs such that I now have to anticipate the possibility and record whatever is scheduled next on the guide in case of extra time etc.

indicates that there should be considerable improvements to reliability of the data impacting recordings due to rollout of the suppliers updated systems wef data for Tuesday 2nd December onwards
