I have BT Sport as an add on through EE and when I try to access the app through my home network I keep getting the error message VP216. This only just started yesterday. I was able to access the bt app through my network fine on Wednesday. My Internet provider is Community Fibre and I am not using a VPN.
It looks like Community Fibre have recently acquired a new range of IP addresses previously owned by ISP Van Veen Beheer B.V. in the Netherlands. Only some systems have updated with the new owner information - ours isn't one of them.
Our systems update every night from our supplier, however there's no way to say how long our supplier will take to pick up the update - though they're usually very quick.
The simplest option would be to reboot your router, in the hope that you get one of the previous IP range that worked.
Alternatively, give it a few days and it should update.
