Hello zulu, no the issue has not been resolved, and I have been occupied by other hassles unconnected with my broadband so the fault report I raised has been closed because I didn't keep chasing it up. I will make another attempt to actually speak to someone about this next week, and may call the marketing people at EE/BT and say I want to cancel because of the fault to see if that gets a response. Frankly I am pretty disgusted with BT's support, but then again I'm finding that sort of lack of assistance all over the place now.
I have the exact same problem and am also extremely frustrated. BT Support just take me through the same cycle of re-booting, resetting and now they've sent me a new EE box and that makes no difference either. They don't seem to have a clue as to what is causing the issue. I have numerous phone calls with them and I am fed up with being told to go through the same routines to no avail.
Hello Hornbeam, sorry for the slow reply, no, the problem has not been resolved. As I said to another poster I have had considerable trouble trying to raise this issue with BT and gave up for a while, for the second time. We have been on holiday and other hassles have been resolved so I am about to try for the third time. I will try to keep you and others posted about how I get on. What is deeply annoying is that this is clearly not an isolated incident and yet one has to jump through hoops, after having located them of course, to get support.
