Champions League

Hi all.

Might be a stupid question but I can't seem to find an answer online.

I used to have a BT Sport / TNT setup in our restaurant. I later cancelled the subscription as it wasn't really worth it for us.

The whole set up still works - a few guests are enquiring about playing The Champions League Final on our large TV's.

I know it's free to stream, but not keen on doing that. (Buffering and time delays etc)

I still have access to the TNT channels albeit it's got a message asking us to subscribe again. For the Champions League final, will this screen unlock so that we can view the game?

Thanks

Re: Champions League

Google suggests that they're only making it freely available via Discovery+...

Re: Champions League

From what I currently see promoted so far (and these sometimes change as there is always a drive to maximise viewing)

Existing linear  (subscription channels) on TV platforms retain their subscription criteria. The Tv platforms normally also  have a discovery+ app available.

Virgin Media are having a special  additional pop up channel  ( presumably non subscription)

The free access via discovery+ is available on numerous platforms where the app exists, (some registration is needed if you don’t have an existing discovery + account).   In the past discovery + for some events have had a separate  Free stream  alongside its regular  (subscription)  streams .
