Is it not possible for TNT Sports to get cleaner feeds of their sports streams. The number of adverts/promotions on the live broadcasts at time seems excessive see this example today from the CPL.
What do you want them to do? If this is what the HBS is sending out as its World Feed, they're a bit stuck really!!
That. Is exactly it , a host broadcaster for a tournament should have the capability to send a clean feed minus the local addons . We are not talking about boundary boards or fixed advertising but rather overlaid imagery for the local market that is being provided.
It should be straightforward for a clean feed to be requested.
They look like fixed advertising points on the field of play that are printed/painted to look like their standing up from the focal point.
They are added to thr broadcast - they sometimes go a bit odd if a player walks into them.
But if the advertiser has paid for them to be carried to all - then all will get them.
Are you going to pay for your ad to be available to be removed?

No they are alded images.
Ultimately i believe the channel is responsible for what it outputs not the host broadcaster.
In some sports the ruling bodies restrict the use of virtual advertising
Do you see virtual advertising during soccer match broadcast on the pitch areas ? No because it is regulated.
Cricket authorities perhaps have a role here as presumably they ultimately sanction the competitions.
Yo do get virutal advertising next to the goals in US coverage of soccer - but not seen it in EPL.
Would not surprise me if a clean feed costs more.
For football it is in the Laws of the Game
Commercial Advertising
No form of commercial advertising, whether real or virtual, is permitted on the field of play, on the ground within the area enclosed by the goal nets, the technical area or the referee review area (RRA), or on the ground within 1m (1yd) of the boundary lines from the time the teams enter the field of play until they have left it at half-time and from the time the teams re-enter the field of play until the end of the match. Advertising is not permitted on the goals, nets, flagposts or their flags and no extraneous equipment (cameras, microphones, etc.) may be attached to these items.
So I presume in the US example you have posted they have the virtual advertising at least 1 m behind the playing area.
