Discovery Premium

I have upgraded to Discovery Premium but can not get the digital programmes only those on EE TV. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong please?

Welcome to the community.

When you say you can see the programmes that are on EE TV, is that through your TV box or is it when logging in through the discovery+ app?

TVbox. If I go in through the App it tells me that I need to upgrade

@Pml1922  Just to check I understand correctly since adding Discovery+ premium you can access the TNT Sports channels via your TV box but nothing else? 
 

Have you activated your Discovery+ app access by clicking the relevant link near the bottom of this page and following the steps to then sign in to your existing Discovery+ account to activate discovery+ on EE TV | BT

I can watch all channels on EE TV but I can not watch on Discoveryplus app e.g. I want to watch Paris Nice stage 2. I go into the Discovery app then Sport and the headings come up at the top of the screen. I then select cycling and up comes the events. Go into Paris Nice stage 2.. You need to upgrade.

@Pml1922 Thanks for confirming. Were you able to try completing setup on the Activate discovery+ link on that page to see if that allowed you the access you needed?

I have activated discovery plus but that does not let me get into discovery premium.

@Pml1922 To be fully clear, have you done the activation since adding the TNT Sports/premium or do you just mean you already have a Discovery+ account from before? 

As once you add the TNT Sports to your package you will be able to watch via your TV box channels straightaway, but accessing the content in app requires further activation on your Discovery+ account.

If you are unable to do it via the Activate option for your specific package on the link I sent, check within your MyBT>Products>Broadband> Manage for a Discovery+ tile with an Activate button.

It should take you to the Discovery+ website where you would select to sign in to your existing Discovery+ account since you already have one, which should then activate your subscription on that account.

There seem to be a few issues  with discovery+ premium access where existing discovery+  accounts existed. 
Example. From EE community

whether this is due to different email addresses being used or issues by EE/BT/WBD in setup/activation is unclear.
