I don't have a TV service (Sky, Virgin, BT etc) and I don't watch any live or recorded broadcasts that are available on channels from other TV services (I just watch on-demand content like prime, netflix, youtube).
So far I don't need a license as per Do I need a TV Licence to watch or stream programmes online? - TV Licensing ™
But I an thinking of getting the BT Sport app and pay monthly BT Sport Monthly Pass | Contract Free BT Sport | BT to watch MotoGP
I won't be watching live broadcasts, but I assume that I would need to pay the TV license fee because I would be watching MotoGP that was previously aired live? The wording of the TV License is vague here " any programme which is part of a TV channel, shown or transmitted for everyone to watch at the same time"
Although I won't be watching MotoGP on-demand on my phone/tablet at the same time as "everyone", it kinda sounds like I need a license?
