Enhanced player for WWE - on app

Has anyone else noticed you can no longer watch the enhanced player version of WWE anymore, either raw or smack down or is it just my app? It’s so annoying trying to skip through to find a segment or a particular match because you have no idea where it starts or ends lol. Also noticed this on the UFC streams and past events as well, both on TNT and BT sports apps

I hope this is just a temporary thing and that there is a fix coming because it was one of the best features of the app!

If you are still using the BT Sport App then following the launch of TNT Sports on July 18th , the enhanced player was removed.  (This was mentioned in the “update” information for the app in places such as Google Play Store).

The Discovery Plus app for some events does allow you to 

• Relive key points in the game with interactive TimelineMarkers.

Not sure what events that will apply to.

No way, that was one of the best bits about the app lol

The enhanced player was a licenced player, provided to us by a 3rd party. That's why the error messages were very basic and unhelpful, and why it didn't let you resume video from where you left it.
The only good thing about it was that it offered the chapter markers, allowing you to jump to specific parts of an event - this was unique to them, and not something we could add to our own player as we don't know the time markers.
Our licence with them ended in June, so the player was disabled and has now been removed.
discovery+ will be offering similar features in their apps going forward.
