Eurosport 4K - not for Warner customers

Eurosport 4K is active on Sky with coverage of Australian Open Tennis - nothing in Discovery+ app.

Thats interesting, that TV platforms are getting the ES 4K, but Discovery+ isn't!

I can watch TNT Sports Ultimate, but no ES 4K!! Bit poor that

Well if Eurosport is broadcasting in 4K on UK platforms that implies that they have rights to 4K coverage.

I recall that the joint venture that WBD and BT set up was supposed to have the pooled UK rights held by Eurosport UK and BT Sport [now known as TNT Sports). So that implies that the joint venture should have 4K rights to the Australian open. 

there is an obvious question here as to why the joint venture 4K rights are not being currently made available to EE TV customers either by the TV platform or by app ?

sorry I can only ask the question I cannot provide the answer.
