Keeping TNT Sports after moving from Sky

Hi,

I'm currently on Sky and have TNT sports package paying separately £37/M.

I will be moving to Virgin in a few weeks but will have a package that includes TNT Sports. Do I need to cancel the current deal with TNT or will the switch automatically cancel the current contract so I won't double pay?

If I need to cancel whats the best way to do it so I don't suffer a drop off period?

This a question for Virgin I'm afraid, though I would hope their process would be similar.

If it were EE you were joining then when you activate your subscription through us, you'd pair your existing discovery+ account with the subscription from EE.  This would transfer your account through to us for billing, and credit you for any overlap between the subscriptions.

I did try to get BT/EE Package but they told me my internet speed was not good enough to support the TV channels through the box and they wouldn't run the TV signal through an areal either, so no option until full fibre was installed in my area.
