Hi @pippex
Looking at the EETV EPG TNT Sports schedules show that Volta ao Algave Stage 2 was onboth TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports 10 .
According to the EPG the TNT Sports 1 broadcast was scheduled to end at 5pm and the TNT Sports 10 broadcast ending at 5:31pm.
So I presume the full stage was on TNT Sports 10.
It seems increasing common for TNT Sports to broadcast what appears to be the same event on more than one channel but not necessarilly the same amount of content on each. If setting recordings this can be problematically. should you wish to record the whole event. If watching live then I would expect on screen announcements to be made to inform the viewer to switch channels to continuing viewing which apparently the broadcaster failed to do.
You shoud be able to view the full stage replay on discovery+ . Looking at discovery+ tonight they actually have the curtailed coverage from TNT Sports 1 which shows them cutting away to adverts with no warning or information with 2.1KM to go the finish.
They also have the full stream which shows the finish of the race.
(Not sure whether you are using a EETV box or Sky box to view - my EPG comments relate to what I see on EETv EPG)
Hi
No warning, nothing.
They went to ads at 2.1km to go and i was thinking that was odd but hopefully it was a short break. Nope, straight to football BUILD UP with no warning or reference to TNT 10
Yes it is disappointing that whoever is in charge of TNT Sports 1 broadcasting didn’t advise viewers on screen of the curtailing of the cycling coverage and how the subscribers could continue coverage. I suspect the cycling commentators were providing default English language commentary for the event , that would be available feed available on a number of platforms and would have no direct knowledge of which channels their feed was being broadcast on.
So only a voice over that TNT Sports tend not to employ or an on screen ticker tape message to switch channels/source which has been used in the past would warn the viewer.
