Re: Take your seat for TNT Sports

Not getting the UHD option on the BT Sport app - but device checker says all is good.

Not getting the HDR option on the Discovery+ option even though selecting UHD.

Re: Take your seat for TNT Sports

No UHD on BT Sport app anymore, just the HD you got when it was BT Sport.

What device you using for watching?

Re: Take your seat for TNT Sports

Check your device has not changed its output settings, for some reason since I got a new tv earlier this year all my devices switch to 8 bit mode when I first turn on the tv, I have to change them to 10 bit to get hdr.

@benshaw627

Is that the best response they can come up with? A basic and quite common copy and paste answer to brush the customer off. Pathetic really!!!

At least when BT were responsible for their own app(s) we almost always got proper assistance for any issues that may have arose.

Re: Take your seat for TNT Sports

Check its firstly set to atleast 10bit output, and the dynamic range is set to adaptive (You'll find this all in Display)

Also worth after checking, to reboot the device

Re: Take your seat for TNT Sports

It is only BT Sport Ulitmate not working in HDR - other HDR stuff on device is all good. The BT Device Checker says all is good for UHD.

It may be a dodgy update on the Firestick - as the BT Box Pro is switching fine in the Dscovery app.

A second Firestick which had always worked - has same issue.

Re: Take your seat for TNT Sports

@DarrenDev   Checked with somebody else who has full TNT Sport Ultiamate sub with BT and gets the football in UHD/HDR on apps. Different model Firestick and different make tv.

All was good on last week's football.

No UHD/HDR option in the BT Sport app - yet Device checker was all ticks.   No HDR switch on the Dikscovery+ app.

So either there was an issue with Saturday's two transmissions  -   or Amazon have set an update to kill them.
