Aviva Prem. Rugby commentary

Is there anything BT Sports Mgr. can do to STOP the incessant drivel by ur commentator/s' (e. g. NOR v. WAS 24/9) on-going updates on all other Aviva concurrent matches. We get coverage in Canada via TSN, @ sig. cost, & '000s of us record the matches to enjoy, consecutively. PLEASE reconsider your practice, here, so we can watch all matches, WITHOUT already knowing the results. The commentator/s ate obsessed with spoiling our w/e rugby feasts. Thank you! A British rugby man, living in Canada!

Re: Aviva Prem. Rugby commentary

This subject has been raised several times before to no avail. Either no one at BT takes note of these forums or they are just not interested in customer feedback.

Re: Aviva Prem. Rugby commentary

Presumably you are watching on a Canadian station which is taking the Bt Sport commentary. Given that the concurrent matches are not being shown in full on BT Sport rather only available in a highlights program much latter in the evening I suspect that there are UK rugby fans who appreciate updates on their team match as well as some who prefer to focus on the game in  hand. Perhaps a solution for you is to actually watch the games you record in a different order so you don't watch the BT Sport main game until after the other matches.

Re: Aviva Prem. Rugby commentary

Watching Bath vs Newcastle - please once again remind your rugby commentators that this is not soccer. Don't need an overexcited stream of drivel. We can see what is happening, we want an informed commentary on tactics and the more obscure refereeing decisions. Too many commentators spoil the broth. I would turn the sound off if we had access to the referee's microphone again.
