My understanding though is that there is no free HD variants this year.

Good news. One interesting thing is what the additional link says.

http://www.broadband.bt.com/espresso/4_generic/

It says if you are a BT Broadband customer watching on Sky you'll have to renew your broadband for another 12 months to get the free offer again. As expected really.

However, it says those watching on BT TV don't have to renew their broadband to get the free offer again. That contradicts what my original order doc said back in May 2013. So after considering things BT seem to have had a change of mind on that. Good news for BT TV customers who to be fair are much less likely to change broadband provider anyway as BT TV requires BT Broadband.

MotoGP, and 4 races in and I am already considering getting a MotoGP video pass at £20 a month and just watching it on that instead.

Ok maybe you can give us your thoughts on why the coverage is awful on bt sport maybe then it gives people something to work on because most comments on here say the coverage is excellent (there is a lot of debate about the commentary but that is so personal choice there are always going to be some people that hate whoever is commentating no matter who it is so it is always hard to please everyone with that). I personally quite enjoy the commentary.
