Re: BT and Sky retain Premier League

You just need BT broadband and BT TV to get BT Sport on your TV - you dont need infinity.

I have it as ADSL Multicast is available in my exchange (I don't need FTTP as 17GB is perfectly acceptable for our household).

Re: BT and Sky retain Premier League

If your lucky enough to live close to the exchange to get them speeds on ADSL, majority of people will not get that hence fibre recommend, also steaming the sport and doing other things at the same time in my house would be impossible !

Re: BT and Sky retain Premier League

VNot the point I was making - my family use Infinity 2 for other stuff.

The point I was making is that BT persistently pay through the nose for football and then expect every BT account holder, whether they watch football or not, to pay for it - many without receiving any other benefit for their significantly higher subscriptions ...all driven by football. If I got higher BB speeds, reduced contention ratios and more coverage of the sports that do interest me to offset those charges then I'd not be on here griping about it. But as it is, I see no benefit at all to being made to pay more and more every 6 months and there really is only one way to stop it. People like me are being driven out.

Re: BT and Sky retain Premier League

Agree with your comments, rubbish deal hopeless time to watch football, will also no doubt lead to another subscription rise.
