Last weekend suddenly BT Sport, subscription channels and BT Sport app not working. The BT player does not open. There's a fault error code 115c coming up. I am currently doing a factory reset and has been on same screen 'setting up TV services for the last 15-20 mins. This happened when I spoke to faults 3 days ago. How can I get back my channels?
Solved! Go to Solution.
@Superjax123 - please can you try two things for me if you haven't already tried these.
1) Press back or close on the "Setting up TV services screen"
If (1) doesn't work;
2) Switch set-top box off, remove the network cable, switch set-top box back on and complete the first time set-up with the network cable removed.
Please let me know how you get on.
I tried option 1 which bypass the screen but the channels still not working. Error code BTP-115C. Did option 2 and the same error code appeared again. When I select BT Sport or other subscription channel it says I need to set these channels up or add it to my package. Since I changed over to BT Halo 1 this has been an issue.
sorry I will retry option 2 again then let you know.
Thanks @Superjax123 - your original issue was a different problem.
Now you're past the setting up TV services issue, give me a couple of minutes and I'll look into your original issue.
Yes I noticed this on the original fault reference BT created. The TV is not jittery or flashing. Thanks for acknowledging.
Just tried option 2 again. Same error code BTP-115C.
@Superjax123 - please try again now.
Hi Gavin. It now works! You are amazing. Thank you so much!
Hi Gavin the app doesn't work still.
