Big Sport - will it work with Apple TV?

Can I subscribe to Big Sport and only use an Apple TV?

I just want to use the BT Sport app, and the Now TV app - will it work?

Have no desire to use a BT TV box as I already have a HDHomerun Quatro tuner and the aerial does not come into the living room.

Yes it will.

You get a YouView box with the TV service, but you don't have to use it. 

I always watched BT Sport via my Apple TV or Xbox as I didn't have fast enough line speed to watch in 4K via the BT TV box, but could watch in up to 4K HDR in the app (well, on the Xbox).

Just remember that if you have NOW TV Boost, the Apple TV doesn't currently support 5.1 sound and hasn't been integrated with the Apple TV app (like Prime Video, iPlayer etc.), even though the new version was supposed to be.

Thanks for the reply! I hadn't had any response so haven't done anything in regards to this. Ironically I just cancelled my Now TV sports pass because it was £25 per month on top of BT Sport.

I'll take another look and see if I can sort it out at a decent price.

Ah damn.. the 6 months for £20 is no more.. I'll wait it out for another deal 🙂
