Discovery/Eurosport and BT Sport merger approved.

Good news, hopefully this will result in some enhanced content for BT Customers.

It is good news indeed the advantages won’t be fully realised for us but it will certainly have Sky worried. Hopefully provide a more competitive sports rights going forward. Plus Expiring movie rights and tv rights to Sky need to expire.

Not sure if you’ve seen as well Viaplay has brought Premier Sports yesterday obviously pending CMA approval but there is no reason it will be blocked. Hopefully Viaplay who have a good reputation in Scandinavia for TV and Sports can bring that to the U.K.. At the very least develop a proper streaming app for the service.

What to do...I have the entertainment only Discovery plus app and BT TV Entertainment.

Do I add sport on Discovery plus or add BT Sport to my BT package and get the Discovery plus app for free?

Might hold off and see if any deals are on the horizon.

I have no problem watching BT sport through the discovery plus app. Either or, depends what is more cost effective
