These have been added to 420-422 and 440-442 - although I had to do a channel scan for them to appear.
I also had to do a rescan for them to show up. Usually channels just seem to appear but not in this case.
when I had a look just just now the three extra channels were showing a placeholder saying coverage from Feb 9 , a simulcast of Eurosport 1 Olympic coverage of Canada v Norway mixed doubles curling and a (Globespan) testcard.
BBC coverage on red button and BBC sport app at the same time was focusing on China’v Switzerland mixed doubles curling.
They have been active overnight but BT have messed up.
The channel which in the guide which says Eurosport 3 and has the listing for Eurosport 3 - is actually Eurosport 4.
The channel which in the guide which says Eurosport 4 and has the listing for Eurosport 4 - is actually Eurosport 5.
The channel which in the guide which says Eurosport 5 and has the listing for Eurosport 5 - is a completely different Olympic feed.
Same on both SD and HD versions.
4 and 5 have just come back as 4 and 5 - so looks better now.
Currently I have expected live transmissions on Eurosport 3 [ski jumping practice) , Eurosport 4 (Finland v Switzerland mix curling) , Eurosport 5 (Korea v China mix curling)
wheres BBC Sport app and red button have USA v Canada (mix curling).
ithe Extra streams may have different commentary teams to the regular Eurosport 1 & 2 broadcasts and may not have the advertising and promotional trailer breaks.
Last night the channels own on-screen logos did not match the EPG name so there was an error.
So Eurosport 3 was only available by selecting Eurosport 4 on the guide - the Guide had the Eurosport 4 name but the screen had the Eurosport 3 logo in top left.
But today it is as it should be.
There is actually a Eurosport 6 too which is carrying the same match as BBC Red Button - but this '6' channel is not on BT or VirginMedia. Only available with a Eurosport Player subscription.
