Re: F1 on BT TV.... Options?

I'll be cancelling as well, Indycar was all I watched on BT Sport. (did use to watch baseball but I now pay for MLB.tv to get every game live.)

Re: F1 on BT TV.... Options?

Will have to pay for SKY Sports if you want to watch Indycar now.

https://www.a516digital.com/2019/03/sky-f1-channel-to-host-live-indycar.html

ESPN lost the contract in US to NBC (Comcast) so it follows that SKY (Comcast) would be well placed to get the UK rights. The Comcast buyout will place SKY in a good position for US Sports content in the same way BT's ESPN tie up worked. BT's ESPN tie up runs out in 2022 so I can't see them worrying too much about US Sports content.

this article from IndyCar

Indicated how they were looking to change how they handled their international rights from this year onwards.

Re: F1 on BT TV.... Options?

Sky have been announcing that Indycar will be a part of the Sports F1 channel line-up.

@MartGwrote:

I've just read that BT have lost the Indycar coverage too 😞 Guess I'll be cancelling my subscription 😞
