Re: Full Now TV through the YouView box

They really should have launched it together with all the rebranding, that would have been a winner.

Re: Full Now TV through the YouView box

BT as a company needs to get it's act together.

There needs to be some real accountability for the managers that run all the various departments in BT.

Here is a Classic BT sloppiness...

They have re-branded their forums with the new BT logo.

But the email prompt they send out to forum users is still using the old logo, sloppy! and shows a poor handle on deployment and project management!

They should have launched it in early 2019 as originally promised.

Re: Full Now TV through the YouView box

Not as bad as the company I used to work for who once emailed *everyone* in the company about the new company logo including the full fat version as an attachment! That burned up some server space and slowed the whole system down to a crawl!

This is gonna drag on as Sky have recently announced some new channels and it looks like they're going to lose their HBO exclusive and first run deal...

Which is what I thought may happen as well with HBO launching a UK version of their streaming service.

However it has been confirmed this morning that Sky and HBO have signed a new multi year deal so Sky Atlantic will remain the home of HBO content in the UK.

Good news for BT Customers then wanting this service activated ??? Maybe that was some part of the reason for the delay???

Re: Full Now TV through the YouView box

Sky must have paid big money for that 10% of HBO content that's actually worth watching... I bet it all hinged on the GOT prequel that's just been announced..

....and that BT are happy to allow its valued customers to speculate blindly about what's going on or, indeed, whether the facility will ever happen at all.

@FC12

The HBO announcement is not linked in any way to the delay in getting NowTV to BT customers. The delay is still down to 'technical' issues which are well documented in other internet fora.
