Re: Full Now TV through the YouView box

I've activated my 7 day 1080p boost trial and I'm pleased to say that there is serious increase in quality on Sky Sports Premier League via PS4. Actually looks better than Sky Sports HD via satellite 😂

Re: Full Now TV through the YouView box

I sincerely hope that BT is not going to accept only two channels in 1080/50fps when it gets around to marketing the NOW Product. The quality offered at 1080/25fps on the others is depressing, considering the wait. To do anything else would be an enormous let-down after the long and tortuous wait for this to arrive.

I don't even think the others are 1080/25... Aren't they 720/25?

Watch all the Sky Sports channels, plus selected shows and movies, in 1080p video quality instead of the usual 720p.

Two Sky Sports channels – Main Event and Premier League – are available at 50 frames per second (except on LG TV).

Re: Full Now TV through the YouView box

Unfortunately it seems none this available via the You View box or Apple TV and no indication of any rollout plans or timelines for other devices.

Re: Full Now TV through the YouView box

Yeah annoyingly I've got an LG TV and an Apple TV in my living room! So I picked up a Roku stick for £29.99 (Black Friday deal) that is going into to a bedroom eventually (already have one in another room) but for now I'm using it in the living room.

I'm not sure if it was in before but the latest T&Cs include a section on Now TV being added to a customers bill. I wouldn't have thought that this would be included if it wasn't close to being implemented.

Re: Full Now TV through the YouView box

Well spotted @FC12 !

Those changes in the T&C are interesting for existing BT customers because it is not entirely clear if BT are saying the T&C changed on the 13th Dec for all new and existing BT customers, or that the new T&C will only come in to effect for existing customers when they renew their contracts.

For the change in T&C to affect existing customers BT would have to send out (normally by email) a notice of the change in T&C, highlighting the change, they would also have to give customers the option leave their existing contracts without penalty if they didn't accept the new T&C.

I have not received any such notification, I hope this isn't the start of another BT mess up, where we start of hear off existing BT customers being told their have to pay for equipment when they go to leave...

Just to be clear, a months notice MUST be given to customers when a company looks to change their T&C. So BT customers who took out a contact with BT before 13th Dec 2019 will NOT be subject to the change in the T&C.
