Recording options for BT Sport

ok so I get BTSport thru my sky system although I do not subscribe to sky so therefore do not have the sky+ recording facility without paying them a tenner a month. I'm looking for a cheaper way to time shift BTSport so I can watch the whole match when I come in late on a Tuesday night. Obviously I could buy a cheap DVD recorder. That's a bit of a fiddle. What if I bought a BT box? Would I be able to time shift on that for free? or would a second hand bt box work for me? I don't have an aerial and do not intend to get one installed. I'm Happy with sky for the fta satellite channels. Any advice. .Could I just use a but box for the sport and not have the aerial?

Re: Recording options for BT Sport

You'll need to take a BTTV subscription. If you decided to go down this route, (provided your broadband speed is fast enough and your exchange is multicast enabled), then BT will send you a brand new Youview box. In which case you'll still need an aerial connected to set it up.
