Serie A coverage

Go to solution

I tried to watch AC Milan's match yesterday but it was nowhere on BT Sport. Doesn't BT have rights for all Serie A? If so, I'm curious why some matches are not shown and how they are selected for coverage, because today Venezia-Verona and Spezia-Sassuolo were available and they're hardly more important than a title contender's match.

Had they opted to screen it live they would had needed to stop coverage at 2:45 pm to conform to the Football Blackout rule as I believe that game was scheduled for Saturday afternoon probably due to Milan’s European midweek game.

Interesting! I had no idea the blackout applies to foreign leagues too.

typically you will find that the Saturday 5Pm KO game is affected with live  transmission from 5:15.
