I’m having sound issues when watching certain channels through my BT Tv box.
UK Gold - sound stops/stutters every now and again
NOV TV App - sound goes silent every now and again
BT sport - sound goes silent every now and again.
Not the cables as I’ve changed these and my internet is working fine.
some help please!
Hi @seedhousel welcome to the forum and sorry that you are having a problem with sound on a few channels.
When you mention the Now TV App is this the channels you are watching on your BT TV box or are you using the App on a different device?
Is your BT TV box connected to the Hub via Ethernet and that's a cable you have changed?

Streaming now tv via the BT TV box.
BT TV box is contracted with Ethernet cables and these have been changed as have the HD cables
Hi @seedhousel can you try a factory reset ensuring to choose the option to keep your recordings. Post back and let me know how you get on.

There is a minor bug in the software on the Youview boxes. That needs to be fixed with a software update.
I sometimes been getting the same when watching Greys Anatomy on Sky Witness via the Now TV app on Youview on an other TV in the house. It only seems to happen now and again on watching live channels via the app on Youview.
I dont get the issue if I watch via the EPG on the main Youview box that I also use for BT TV.

Have absolutely no idea what you are on about!
Its a known minor problem and need to be looked at my Youview.

Workaround for the BT channels is to pause live TV for a few seconds.
As for the NowTV app I have noticed the occasional sound drop out while the video continues. Curiously this does not seem to be a problem when casting NowTV from my Android tablet instead of using the Youview app.
@seedhousel if you go to the Youview Community forums you will get better help there.
I started a thread on the Youview Community forums about this problem and have had a few replies.
